    Hidden gem of Hampshire
It is easy to book a visit on line. But because owners still live there visiting is limited. Check their website. I went on Sunday and I went ahead of time so I can walk around surrounding the private property Forest Preserve wet lands and prairies. To get to the house you will have to drive under the narrow bridge used by trains (very romantic spot). Liking from the distance you would only see red old barns and you would not think that there is a Frank Lloyds Wright modern house. But there is! The moment you get through the bridge you will see it on your left side. Note that on the Main Street there is no sign to let know passing by people that there a FLW house and it is open for public tours. So make sure you have a right address and GPS. Otherwise it is hard to fine it ( especially that there is s sign: private property no trespassing ). The owner is very nice. He greated us with his dog. It was worth it every single penny. Must see for FLW lovers!

Gracious Owners Conduct the Tour of this FLW Home and Make It Very Enjoyable
We enjoy seeing Frank Lloyd Wright designed homes, though we're not as serious as some. This one is an opportunity to see one that is still privately owned. The owner's grandparents are the ones who built this home, so it's neat to hear about the design and build process through the stories handed down to them - including all of the letters that went back and forth between the Muirheads and FLW during the design process. The owners themselves conduct the tour, and make it a very personal experience. The home is in beautiful condition in a tranquil setting. It was nice being out in the countryside.
