    Very nice park
First time visit to Chicago, and we didn't know what to expect. We were very pleasantly surprised at how clean it seemed, we were extremely cautious, but felt safe the entire time. This was a winter trip, but now, we'd like to come back and see this in the spring/summer.

    Say Yes to the Bean
Visiting Chicago for the first time, I had to see everything listed here on Trip Advisor that I could. This was on the list, so I left my hotel on Magnificent Mile and walked to Navy Pier (also on the list), and then walked to Millenium Park. It was a hike because it was raining. I could have rented a bike, and that would have been faster and probably even better. So the way we went, we could not see the park at all and had to ask for directions twice. Most of the people were tourists and were looking also. We found the right park, but there was a free Jazz concert in the park amphitheater, so we had to wait in a very, very long line to get our bags rummaged through by security. Found the Bean, and it was lovely. There was a crowd, but hey, I didn't mind. We sat at the Jazz concert for quite a while and enjoyed it. I guess it was called the Cloud Gate, but I saw no clouds nor a gate. I would highly recommend going to see this as it is pretty and weirdly random but iconic and free.
