Mikerphone Brewing, Illinois, United States

4.5 (20 reviews) Spent 1-2 hours Ranking #1 in Elk Grove Village Bars & Clubs

AWESOME SPOT!!

Mikerphone Brewing is definitely worth a trip. Its tucked on the back road off Higgins rd but easy to find. It struck us with good vibe and atmosphere and the selection of beers were awesome. We had visited in February but cannot wait to make a visit during summer when patio and windows are open to enjoy a cold brew. You can also buy beer to go and they will freshly can it for you. Five stars!

    Let the pun begin
A fun brewery that took an out of the way location and made it worthwhile to search out. The beer is as good as the names are entertaining. If you ever wanted to try a beer slushy - this is the place. Oreo Speedwagon anyone? We tried 4-5 beers and found them all unique with their own style. The servers encourage tasting before you commit - so go ahead and be adventurous. They have a food truck outside that sells huge burgers or tacos - we didn't partake (cause we just had dinner - darn it!) but they looked delicious. The inside space is decorated in a rock and roll theme - with vinyl albums tacked up on one wall. It is worth the visit just to grab a brew and check out the old records. The vintage chairs, couch and coffee tables are also cool - so feel free to wander into the industrial park wasteland and experience this little treat.

One of the most inventive microbreweries.
Haven’t had the opportunity to get to Mikerphone before now - and i’m kicking myself...hard. It’s difficult to explain the flavors you’ll experience here using typical beer terms. If it tastes great - they’ve probably made a beer like that. Berry smoothies, banana Foster, Vietnamese coffee - check, check and check. Lemon & lime Radler - almost like a daiquiri. Most places that do flavors make Frankenstein drinks, pour a little flavor into otherwise bland beer. Not Mikerphone- they’re all in.
