Meadowbrook park has much to offer. A community built playground for children, and two walking paths. One is long and loops around the entire park, and the other is a short loop filled with outdoor sculptures which change frequently. It's a lovely place to just take a walk!

Don't miss in spring, summer, fall or winter
Large, thoughtfully designed park great for walking, bird watching, kite & drone flying, picnics. Large play area with diverse things for kids. Adjacent grass field where kids can run free. Bicycles & dogs on leash OK. Observation platform overlooks large acreage of well managed prairie restoration. Great masses of prairie wildflowers are spectacular. Excellent location for casual or serious photography (please stay on established trails). Two easy parking lots. Large herb garden. Delightful outdoor sculpture of high caliber. Active beaver. Decent deer population. Pheasants, red wing black birds constantly calling, a few ducks, lots more. Great place in winter, too. Bathrooms available part of the year. Zombie free.

PEACEFUL PARK
We were visiting Urbana and were told about this wonderful park. It was a beautiful day for a walk and this was the perfect place to see and experience its beauty. It was during the week and it was not too busy. We were able to relax and enjoy the unusual park artwork and sculptures. There is a paved walking path around the park. Children were playing in the playground. The park is lovely and peaceful.
