Wonderful Tour of a Beautiful Estate
At first I thought the fee of $8/person was a little steep; however, after our tour lasted over one and a half hours and we saw a huge portion of the house, I thought it was well worth it. Our tour guide was a wealth of information, and the architecture of the home is incredible (the estate is not furnished because the forest preserve uses the space for a variety of activities). It was a fascinating glimpse into local history.

Interesting Historical Home
We were staying at a resort in the area July 4th weekend and decided to visit the Mayslake Estate Great decision. It was beautiful Sat afternoon and we had a personal tour with Sue and she was excellent. Not only knowledgable of very interesting details of the history of the estate, She is one of the nicest persons you will ever meet. When you are in the Chicago area or oak brook Area take a relaxing tour of one of Chicagos out of the city historic landmarks. Thanks again Sue Bill and Tara
