STOP IN LITCHFIELD!! You won’t be sorry!!!

This was, hands down, one of the nicest 66 museums we have seen on our Route 66 travels. Clean and well organized, with a very welcoming host greeting us when we arrived. We happened to visit on the day that Nick Adam was volunteering at the museum and we loved hearing him tell us the history surrounding Litchfield and also his family’s part in that history. The Ariston Cafe was his family’s business and what a tradition. Thanks Litchfield- you have done it up right for Route 66 travelers!! (We didn’t get to Jubelts Bakery across the street but I am pretty sure you need to check that out too!! We will next time!!)

    Out for a Sunday drive!
We found this treasure of a museum! Very clean, very inviting and informative! There was a very nice hostess there that was willing to give us in the information we ask about. The museum offers a wide variety of topics covered. We really enjoyed our stop there! Right across the street from two Route 66 restaurants! Ariston's Cafe and Jubelt's bakery! We definitely recommend checking out this museum. You won't be disappointed.

    Get Your Kicks...
Well, this is a very well put together museum, with a great curator. He took the time to talk to all of us who had questions, and offered insightful answers. He has a passion for the old Route 66, you can tell right off the bat. I liked it very much, and spent a good hour in there. A must for anyone traveling on Route 66!
