One of my best memories

I always loved going here when I was younger. It was always fun just getting a pit pass and walking around and look at the cars. I hope I could go again soon.

    Small Town Fun
    This is just fun. Lincoln is just a small country town and the speedway reflects everything Lincoln, IL. Take an evening sometime and go to the speedway!

    Dirt track racing on quarter mile.
    Friday nights run 5 classes: UMP Modifieds, Crate Late Models, E-Mods, Street Stocks & Wild Things (Hornets). 7pm-10:15pm, only $10 admission, under 12 free and $2.50 beers. Set in the Logan County Fairgrounds Grandstand, so you are back enough to not get dirt thrown on you and the sound level is not overwhelming. Quarter mile dirt track with some banking makes for room to pass and competetion was great. They really moved the program along swiftly, with very little down time between races. Nice venue, family friendly, and reasonable prices. If you enjoy dirt track racing, please make plans to attend and support a great American passtime. Check the website at www.lincolnspeedway.org
