Great museum on Lincoln

This museum is fantastic. I enjoyed all the information in the first floor as well as the guided tour that Ron provided me on the second floor which story-tells the thoughts that may have gone through Abraham Lincoln's mind during his last hours. This small museum is a very good complement to the Lincoln Museum in Springfield and I am glad I was able to visit both.

A hidden gem
A hidden gem in central IL! Six of us visited, two of us volunteers at the Presidential museum in Springfield. The material was nicely displayed on the first floor. We were lead to the second floor for a guided tour. What a delightful experience. Surprises everywhere. The lighting gave us a time traveler glimpse into the past and the tour guide gave us an extraordinary insight to Lincoln. If you are a Lincoln fan, this is a must see!

What I want in a museum
I was disappointed by the Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum. This little spot is more to my taste. Sited on the grounds of Lincoln College, this museum occupies and entray hall, a large exhibit room, and an upstairs video presentation room. We skipped the video--we were delighted by the main displays. This museum is focused on education, and the ehibits are authentic and clearly presented. I was also impressed with the way they've designed several exhibits to engage students during school trips. Highly recommended.
