Truly Amazing!
Talk about an amazing 'secret garden', this is it! I first visited La Paloma as part of a garden walk in Rockford, and when I arrived I thought the front of the home was nice but nothing extraordinary. Then I walked to the back and was blown away! This garden covers two homes backyards and has several different types of gardens and resting areas throughout this wonderland. You just can't explain how beautiful and breath-taking it is so just go and see it for yourself. If you like gardens, this is a must see and you WILL NOT be disappointed!

A Shocking Piece of Heaven!
I saw this place listed in a guide brochure of "great gardens to see in Rockford". I decided to visit and I was amazed. This place is situated among residential homes so you would really have no idea it was there. I pulled up and I thought I was lost at first because the garden property is part of two homes. Once you get around to the back it is simply breathtaking. This could be anyone's secret haven. The waterfalls, paths, seating terraces, mini ponds (with so many frogs :), greenhouse, vegetable garden and flower garden are all too much. I recommend this to anyone looking for something different.
