best donuts in this world

The service is so friendly that it made my day. The donuts were so sweet and made fresh. The prices were very reasonable for the quality.

    A WONDERFUL FIND
We have been visiting the area and looked on phone for nearby bakery. How lucky we are to be able to return to this bakery every few days and try everything we possible can find on thier shelves. The donuts are all delicious. I know how much work goes into baking, so I really do appreciate their quality goods. The donuts all have been delicious, I am extra thrilled with the "Horns", Carmel Breakfast Twist and the Cream Puffs. The most amaxzing thing happened this morning when we arrived at Krutas to buy treats for our family and found that Easter Saturday was open for preorders only. Well, this lovely lady (seemed to be the owner) came over to our car and asked about our order but we had none. She ran in and out of the baskery several times in the sincerely kind effort to help us. She asked us what we had hoped to buy, but had none of them. Then she said she had a few extra Holiday Bread, which I had not heard of before, but I said great...we'll take one of those. She ran back in and brought us a big box, refused to take payment and wished us a Happy Easter!!!!! I will definitely be back next week to buy more goodies. What a lovely surprise to find such kindness and generosity. I have an official judge at a few baking contests and can say that many of Kruta's products are the quality that would win prizes. It is so rare to find true homemade, from scratch items these days.

    There's better butter cake
Traveled here from St. Louis because we'd heard they had the best gooey butter cake of anywhere in the area. Our verdict (after lots of samples of different cakes at different locations): it was OK, but not the best. However, they did have a very good apple fritter that made the trip worthwhile. If you have some time to kill, it's worth a visit, but I wouldn't go far out of my way.
