Great old time fairgrounds speedway !
We were on our way home to Caledon (Toronto) Ontario from the west coast. Needed our racing fix so stopped in Kankakee for the Friday night races (Friday Aug 23 - a full card of racing). Track could use a bit of contouring - turn 4 caused a problem for many drivers :( Sound system needs improving - lowering the speakers and possibly larger speakers. All in all it was a good experience with a good night of racing. Price was most reasonable, Food stand was good for the small crowd attending. Washroom was fine - no complaints. All track workers - ticket booth, security and food concession were most friendly. No great complaints for an old fairground race track. Pat & Jerry D from Caledon

Kankakee Speedway Needs some work
I have been a long time fan of the Kankakee Speedway. Over the past few years it has run but needed some TLC. The concession stand always has an unbelievable line, they used to have a number of vendors. The bathrooms are to say the least terrible. The racing is always good but the track needs to put a little more attention on spectator relations.
