Come take a walk down Water Street in Wilmington Illinois and visit over a dozen locally owned shops to find a wide variety of antiques, vintage goods and collectibles! A positive visit today in Wilmington
Have been coming to shop antique shops here for many, many years. Towns like these have a cycle throughout the years. Sometimes, there might be many antique shops open to visit and then sometimes shops close for many different reasons. It is always nice when you visit and the town is in a prosperous position. For us regulars to the business, both collectors and dealers, we are used to seeing this, and we are die hards who visit during highs and lows. That said, I am happy to report that today, we were especially pleased to see the town of Wilmington alive, thriving and full of shops to visit. The shop owners were friendly and we found several things to purchase to our liking. That always adds up to a pretty good day! As I sometimes say and will say today, Check It Out!

Reminiscing the Yesteryears
Nostalgic Route 66 traverses thru hundreds of small town USA’s. So why should you put Wilmington IL onto the sightseeing hit list? - antique stores, and more antique stores - gemini giant - Abe Lincoln national cemetery - Midewin national tallgrass prairie (check out the tatanka’s) - island park (great fishing & goose chase) - Tammen u-pick blueberries (early july to early august) and christmas trees - Nelly’s burgers, dogs, pulled pork & malt
