The new ownership is making improvements to the course after previous ownership let it run down. As of 2019, a very noticeable improvement and the course is in good shape. A fairly straightforward 2 sets of 18 holes and a nice shorter executive 9. The driving range is very good and there is also a large putting green and a short hole with a fairway for practicing approach shots, chipping, and getting out of sand traps. Nother overly fancy about Green Garden, but it is a good place to golf and to practice.

    Nothing Special
As an avid and accomplished golfer, I can state without reservation that these two courses at Green Garden are about as uninteresting, unaesthetic, unchallenging, and uninspired as they come. These are courses that allow you to hit the ball practically anywhere off the tee and still have a good chance at birdie or par. As far as I'm concerned, if you miss the fairway, getting par should not be impossible (heck, you're not playing the US Open), but it should be harder than if you hit your tee shot in the fairway. This is never the case on these courses. Missing a fairway should be punitive without being grossly unfair. My recommendation at Green Garden? Get on the tee, swing as hard as you can, try and hit it far, and then play your next shot from the fairway or the rough. It simply makes no difference.
