ake Michigan's most beautiful spot on the North Shore, Glencoe Beach. The beach is ideal for group and family outings, work picnics, or summer camp groups! Lifeguards are on duty daily during beach season. Beach amenities include a sprayground for kids, beach volleyball, stand-up paddleboard/kayak/sailboat rentals, aquatics/sailing camps, concession stand, locker rooms, sun shelter rentals, and boat storage. Glencoe Beach charges admission during the summer season, from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend.

    Great spot for exercise on the ramps
    It’s a very nice beach. Patrolled in season with entry fee. Small restaurant with bathroom facilities. We walk along the beach, northbound, in all seasons. Southbound is not open. You need to go up/down the ramps to access the beach. There is a cart available to drive you should you wish during the summer. Walking the ramps is great exercise. Not easy to find places with elevation gains around here.

    Designed to keep non-residents away
    Terrible for visitors. High entry fee for a very pebble beach which hurts feet. Multiple flights of huge stairs to climb down just to see an empty car park below which is just for residents: it seems like they want to make it as difficult as possible for non-residents to visit….
