I go for the jazz. There is a big band every Sunday nite beginning early in the evening in the summer. Also occasional big names like the Four Freshmen. This is an intimate setting for a rocking anything. Draft beer and good bar food. Get there early to get a decent seat. If you like rock, folk, zydeco, you name it, there is something for everyone. Old Style Rock N Roll Fun
You are greeted by the owner who welcomes you and shares a few rules. The music was great when we were here, there is space to dance (and unfortunately there was not much competition to find dance space), and the sound came across fine. As we were there to see a group play, the place was packed, but even given that, our waitress got us our orders and drinks mostly in a timely fashion. The other patrons were friendly and we met several others around us and had conversations, which was great. Just a friendly well-run place with good music and good times and affordable prices. Also we had no issues finding parking within a couple blocks.
