General Store
Great little general store and delicious pastries. Owner very knowledgeable of The Village of Elsah and friendly.

A throwback to a more relaxed era.
I am so glad I stopped here while enjoying the Great River Road in the winter. The owner is very pleasant. The decor is old-fashioned, reminding me of my grandparents' kitchen in the 1960's. I bought candy, sodas, maple syrup, and greeting cards.
