Nice State park for camping.
We enjoyed the camping here, no complaints. Arrived on Thursday and left on Monday. It was pretty busy Friday and Saturday, and the staff did a decent job keeping up the bathrooms. Nice spots with Electric and water close by. No beach, but there are beaches close by.

large very nice campgrouond
went on the spur of the moment on the 4th of july, didnt think we were goin to get a spot, but they had plenty of sites. the hosts were extremely nice and helpful. told us they always have a couple spots for last minute campers. well kept park, shady and quit . think they have at least 135 spots. they also have a sister campground about 5 miles away , called wolf creek, just as nice. we will come back again.

Camping nice
Went on a Friday night without reservations and there was many sites open. You can make reservations on line but it has to be three days in advance. The campsites were very clean. There are a campsite that has electrical and water hook up that are partially shaded. There is a tent site that is more wooded. Very pretty area. Limited access to get to lake to fish from the shore. The resort has been closed for many years. If you want a nice close weekend camping get away this area is good. On they other side of the lake is wolf creek campground. Nice also and it has more play grounds and a swimming area.
