Great Place

We stopped here to stretch our legs and have lunch. It was great. They have nice walking trails. A zip line that both my teens and 5 year old could enjoy. The pond had lots of fish and 3 huge turtles that came right up to the dock. We also enjoyed the nature center. We were able to eat lunch at picnic tables. It was a great stop.

" What families and students need"
I'm kind of biased because my wife volunteers there, but it is an oasis in the hustle an bustle away from everyday life. We have 4 grandchildren, and one of the older ones volunteers there through the boy scouts, but the 8 year old and the 3 year old like to go there and walk the trails, and work in the study room. They do have a play room, but it isn't used that much because all the back to nature things they have to do.

Great trail, various kind of wild lifes
At the nature center, I saw chipmunk, hummingbirds, turtles, and a lot of different birds, animals, and other wild lifes. Also, the trail was great to see the nature of Illinois.
