Crow Valley Campground, Illinois, United States

Cute campground

Cute campground with nice large shady (big maples) sites with views of Rock River. There is a boat ramp & they allow fishing, but no swimming or tubing. Sites are grass & have a picnic table & fire pit. There are clean restrooms with showers up on a hill, & port-a-pot (changed out routinely) closer to the lake & tent areas. Wi-Fi is available while sitting on the scenic office patio. The owners, Rindy & Scott, are very hands on & are working extremely hard to make improvements & updates. Make sure you bring insect repellent & a flashlight!

    Nice stop
This is a nice little campground. The shower house was a little outdated but had 2 stalls where you can adjust the temperature of the water and a bench for you to change. There is a small pool to enjoy. It was overall clean. The steps were a little slippery, and yes ,there were bugs, but it is a pool , that is outside. If you are looking for a playground, you will be disappointed. The playground was rundown with weeds. The sites were mostly dirt and weeds, however this is probably due to the proximity to the river. They were mostly level. Would come back.

Beautiful View of The Rock River
Older Campground needs updating fairly clean bathhouse facility. The owner Rindy was pleasant. Our site was a mud pit fire ring filled with water. Asked for some stone to cover the mud never got it or heard from them . A lot of seasonals . Stayed a week there. If you can't find anything else in area it's not a bad stay. People camping were rude dogs around off leash. People constantly walking through or campsite. Close to highway noisy.
