Constitution Trail, Illinois, United States
4.5 (94 reviews) Spent Ranking #4 in Bloomington-Normal Hiking Trails
Great walking path
Old railroad tracks converted into bike/walk trail. Covers alot of distance and is wide enough for traffic, which is a very popular outdoor activity for locals. Definitely do not use after dark.

Rare Find
Have visited my daughter many times at Illinois Wesleyan but only found this trail her senior year. Used it in winter after a snowfall but path was already clear. Paved. Great for walking, running or bicycling. Historic markers along the way make the walk even more enjoyable.

Walking/Jogging/Biking
The Constitution Trail is a paved path that stretches for miles in either direction. People are friendly and helpful on this trail. We were from out of town and we recieved info from people on the trail. It is safe and out of traffic. I wish it was a little more rural ,but still a nice trail and gets used by the community.
