Amazing, historical collection of golf courses...
We enjoyed a late August round at one of the renown golf meccas of the greater Chicago area. The speed of play was good, the clubhouse staff remarkably attentive and the 'after golf' libation cold and plentiful. Moderately priced round (less than $100/player) on a historical tract made for a most enjoyable day on the course.

Huge Open to the Public Golf Facility Close to the City
It's hard to find a successful private open to the public golf facility. This place is so massive, with 3 courses, a bountiful practice area, and fantastic pro shop, it's hard not to like. Try their World Class hotdogs that are clones of Boston's Red Sox Fenway Park's tube steak!
