Very good choice for a movie theatre
My 5 year old granddaughter and I wanted to see "Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom", so we chose the Elk Grove Theatre for an afternoon matinee. I must admit that it was way busier than I thought that it would be, probably because of the dinosaurs, the "Incredibles 2" movie and no school. They did have more than adequate staffing, so the waits at the ticket counter or concession stand were not long. The theatre is clean and well-maintained. The prices are more than reasonable. You may want to consider joining the rewards program for Classic Cinemas - every bit helps!

Returned & it was as good as the first time
It had been awhile since we had come to the Classic Cinemas Elk Grove Theatre, but we were out and wanted to see "Tomb Raider" and it was at a very convenient time. For a Friday night, the tickets were $6.00 per person and $7.00 for a large bag of popcorn. We were in auditorium #6 where the seating was comfortable and the picture & sound quality were excellent. The only real improvement would be power reclining seats, but then again, I don't need that big of an excuse to fall asleep, especially if it is a boring movie! Oh, and "Tomb Raider" was not boring.

Stopped in for a movie.....
The wife and I stopped in last Sunday to see "I can only Imagine". Excellent movie by the way. The theatre is certainly one of the older ones. Seats are not the new modern, recline, fall asleep versions you see in many of the other locations. Although not as nice as some other places we certainly was not complaining about the prices. Not a bad deal at all. Good visit!
