Date night for last minute open bowling. This place was great and nostalgic feeling. Cash only. My husband and I actually had a great night bowling in a not too crowded bowling alley.

Nice family-friendly bowling alley
Took my five-year-old son, my 13-year-old nephew, my dad and my uncle on a Thursday afternoon over Christmas Break. Everyone had a nice time. The alley decor is vintage but everything has been modernized - with electronic scoring and such. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. We got two lanes - one for the older players and one for my 5-year-old that had the gutter guards. They even had a metal rack that let him roll the ball easier. Just nice touches to make it more fun for him. The shoes didn't look too nasty and they had kids sizes with Velcro. Prices were pretty reasonable too. While we were here the whole place was families with kids. Not sure how it would be at other times but it does seem to be a good family-friendly place.

Old school bowling alley in Forest Park
This gem was built in the 1940s and is a classic. The lanes are in good shape and have modern scoring, but the decor of the place is a real throwback. They have bumpers for the kids as well as launch ramps. Good time for the family.
