The other covered bridge outside princeton il

A pretty covered bridge with water flowing under it with peace and serenity. Parking lot right next to it. So you can get out , look around. Walk down to path and under the bridge. People usually swim hear in good weather, some fish, some go tubing ect It's really well maintained and pretty on the eyes. A great spot for pictures too! I like walking under bridge using that as a backdrop for pics !!! Just another little charm of Princeton!

    Exploring
Beautiful all wood covered bridge. Was expecting an older one but this one was built to old standards but built in 2006. Nice seeing, little parking area where you can get out and have a closer look. Enjoyed the break and the bridge.

You don't see many new covered bridges.
It's a nice bridge, that's for sure. It's a pretty new covered bridge, which I really haven't seen, and has been built to handle 2 lane traffic. It's also very tall, so you can get farm equipment, campers, and stuff like that through it. I don't remember seeing a weight limit going over it, so I think it can handle quite a bit of weight. There is a small parking lot that allows you to get out and check out the bridge and go down to the creek. I think it's missing a little of the charm by being more user friendly than, say, the Red Bridge a few miles north, but it's still worth a look.
