A Gem Hidden in Plain Sight
This is fabulous not-for-profit county museum. There Civil War artifacts, a 20,000+ local photo collection as well as a great Native American treasure trove. Well worth a detour.

Part of a great trip through historic Princeton
The Historical society museum is in a gorgeous old home and filled with wonderful fascinating memorabilia from another era. It is a delight for young and old. Don't miss it!

Interesting Collection Housed in Two Large Homes
The Homes are side by side, just a short walk around the corner from the downtown shops and restaurants, to the west of "The Circle". A $5 requested donation gets you a tour and lots of info regarding the homes themselves, plus several interesting collections - prehistoric fossils, Native American tools, arrowheads, an antique Model T, period clothing, and war related paraphernalia. Older children, and those who have an interest in either architecture or the above mentioned artifacts would be suitable to include in the tour.
