Beer! Beer! What a wonderful Beer!
So upon driving past Buckle Down almost on a daily basis on a warm day I saw the Garage door open. It was almost like a siren song that called me in. I decided to finally stop as I had some time to kill. It is a rehabbed industrial space that has been turned into a micro brewery. Though they do not have a commercial kitchen they either have an assortment of food trucks; or they allow you to order outside food as well. They occasionally host live bands so there is always something happening. The beers here are amazing. They have a great assortment as well as limited releases. One of my favorites by far is Nefarious Aftermath. They also offer Growler fills. Definitely worth a try if your in the area.

    Local vibe, great beer.
Local vibe, great beer. This is exactly what I like in a local brewery: great beer, friendly crowd, attentive staff and GREAT BEER. You can go chase down your $20 4 packs all day and you won't find a better value than this place. Reasonable prices, to go beer specials. Great music going and always a nice group of regulars on hand that make this place a really fun and friendly visit. If you are going just for the beer - go. The Clencher IIPAs are awesome and their flagship - Belt and Suspenders is a super fresh IPA with a range of floral hop notes and just enough bite. Their new Winter beer is PERFECT for my taste - not too sweet, not to heavy....sessionable and roasty and so well balanced. There's a good assortment of beers that seem to improve regularly. I'll admit there was a bit of turn over of staff at the start that needed to happen. Now - every bartender is friendly and knows their stuff. They listen to their customers and tweak things regularly while remaining consistent on their core products. Mug Club is a great deal...watch for special event. There's some punk shows, some folks singers at times, food trucks....a bit of something for everyone. Weekend vibe is a bit different and I prefer the slower hours when I can get in and out in a bit and enjoy some friendly conversation with the staff and the regulars. Local gem.
