Cool and unusual outdoor bar great for families
When we visit the Winslow area every year to see family, we ALWAYS stop by Bobbers, and I'm sure I would go a lot more if I lived nearby. I love the fact that it's pretty much entirely outdoors, and RIGHT on the Pec River, like you can fish right off the deck. We have 2 young children and this is a very family-friendly bar with a lot of weird and interesting things to look at. The kids love running around looking at the boats and playing in the grass while we sit, and it does not feel like an inappropriate place to bring them and spend the day. We always end up talking to interesting people here, making friends, and hanging out for a LOT longer than we planned. Oh, and the food is really good too! Highly recommended if you're sick of being cooped up in tired feeling bars where everyone is staring at the TV. We have occasionally caught the live bands that play on the 'pontoon boat' stage, and they do not disappoint!!

Very fun summer time destination!
This is a fun place to meet a group. They have live entertainment on Sundays, which would be fun! Great outdoor seating area along the river.

A hidden gem!
This place is so neat!! It's an outdoor bar right by the river. Seats are comfortable and I really like the layout. You can sit out on the open deck if you'd like and stargaze on a clear night. I didn't check to see if they had a food menu, but we will go back soon for sure. I think they could do very well with a friday night fish fry. Not sure how fancy they get with drinks as it is a pretty laid back place. The ladies bathrooms is neat (take your best friend with you!). There is an upstairs area as well. I hear they have live music on certain summer nights so I want to make sure I get back there for that also. Cash only. Maybe keep in mind to take along insect repellent just in case. Just 2 blocks over is the Artisan Well, take a walk over and you wont regret it. There is also another bar located 1 block over if you want to hop between the two.
