Nice place for a walk
I went here for a walk. The trails are wide which is good with Covid. I saw a deer, some ducks, and a lot of geese. Nice and quiet spot.

Many trails + Nice dog park
Blackwell is a large forest preserve with multiple entrances. Check the map because there are many trails. Climb Mt Hoy for a nice view of the suburbs. Go tubing in the winter. Rent a boat in the summer. Visit the dog park (entrance off Mack Rd, fee applies, and the rangers do check!)). Lots of fun for all ages.

Great running trails
Ran the trails here in college and afterwards. Some shady off-road spots, and a large hill to try at the end of the loop.
