Take the walking Underground Railroad tour!

The Underground Railroad tour was excellent. Tom captivated both guests from out of state and long-time Ottawa residents. We can’t recommend this tour highly enough! His research is thorough — and his breadth and depth of knowledge is impressive. We will definitely return for another tour soon!

Strange deaths in Ottawas history
Tom has an amazing grasp of the history surrounding Ottawa bringing it to life as you tour the town and businesses. He is lively and engages all the participants involved with the tour. It is evident that he truly loves what he is doing and shares that pride and joy that he has developed regarding Ottawa history.

Fascinating and factual
Tom is definitely very knowledgeable and very passionate about what he does. We took the Radium Girls tour and it was beyond our expectations. This tour was 2 hours and Tom filled every minute with fascinating, unbelievable stories of these women who gave their lives to a company that cared more about money than health and life itself. After taking this tour, we signed up for 2 more tours in December.
