Great history
A very impressive collection of firearms, cannons , artillery and tanks . Atomic vannon is huge. The entire park is well kept and easy to get around.

very cool
Found this by accident looking for something else. For quite weapons collector and historian, it was nice to see actually and experimental weaponry from America's past. Back when we knew who the enemy was, and were actually allowed to fight them with out all of the silly rules of engagement we have now days.

Nicely maintained and displayed
This exhibit is along the main road in Rock Island Arsenal and is easy to find and visit. It is much more than the Atomic cannon - there are artillery and armor pieces exhibited as well. Some captured pieces are displayed as well. The captioned signs explain the pieces very well. Take the time and stop!
