    Good choice for The Lion King
    We were with my 4 year old grand daughter and we were looking for a place to go with her. We decided on the AMC South Barrington 24 because they had a couple of kids' movies there. And considering there are 24 auditoriums, there almost should be at least one. We chose The Lion King, as she had not yet seen it. Normally, we go to AMC Theatres on Tuesdays, so since it was a Wednesday, we had the senior price. The concession stand and ticket officer staff were efficient. The popcorn tasted fresh. The movie was very entertaining and the soundtrack was really good. Now, I just have to decide which was better the new CGI one, or the older animated one.

    Big Theater / Comfortable Seating
    Large theater with several screens available. The seating is a little limited in each room, since chairs are larger recliners. However, it’s very comfortable having the extra space and being able to sit back with your feet up. Seats are determined when you purchase your tickets, so you pick where you'll sit ahead of time. Place was fairly clean and in good repair at the time of visit. Interactions with the theater staff was fairly limited, but everybody was helpful and friendly throughout our visit. Similarly, the selection of snacks, treats, and drinks was limited due to current COVID conditions. Tickets are a little pricey at the cost of about $13 per person, but the cleanliness and comfort of the visit was well worth the expense.
