Theatre & the immediate area are really looking good
We went to the AMC Norridge 6 for an early matinee, mainly because on Tuesdays - it is $5.00 admission, which is hard to beat! Because we had some Stubs credit the large popcorn and pop were less than $10.00 (with free refills). Overall, not bad. Though the theatre is not the closest to us, we decided on the Norridge because each of the 6 auditoriums has the power reclining seats. There is plenty of parking and the theatre (including the restrooms) is clean and well-maintained. At the ticket counter, AMC has introduced self-pay kiosks which may take a bit of practice, as checking in seemed to take us a bit longer. We were in auditorium # 6 which is a smaller auditorium, but it is very comfortable and those seats, very, very comfortable. We saw "Skyscraper" which was certainly action packed. Think "Die Hard" AND "Towering Inferno" on steroids. The staff seems efficient and friendly.

Great prices and nearby dining choices
We like coming to the AMC Norridge 6, if only because it is a bit smaller and easier to get to everything. Everything is kept clean and the staff maintains the theatre pretty well. One thing of interest is that if you want to grab something to eat, there is at the moment, a Chick-fuk-A and a Culver's at the east end of the parking lot at the entrance from Harlem Ave. We find this certainly gives you a range of varieties of food and means that if you really want to, you can eat before or after and save a couple of dollars. We went for the matinee of "Jumanji - The Next Level" and apparently, the prices are really decent. There were three of us - two seniors and a toddler, so the total admission was less than $13.00. The movie was good, though there were a few swear words used. We were in auditorium #2 and they had the power reclining seats which made for a comfortable time and I didn't fall asleep. My only complaint was at the concession stand. We wanted to take advantage of the unlimited popcorn program for the year, but it seems that this AMC theatre does not participate in that program.
