Love this Statue

This is a great statue. Very realistic in the representation of a patrician scion of a prominent Bloomington family. The sculptor correctly got the details down to the famous hole in Adlai Stevenson's sole!

    Sit down next to Adlai before going through TSA gate
    I past this statue when I got off the airplane flying into Bloomington-Normal and pass it every time going to and coming from the airport. It's a nice addition and begs you to sit down next to him and relax before your flight adventures begin.

    Evergreen Memorial Cemetery
    If you ever get to Bloomington, Ill stop by this cemetery just to see the memorial to Adlai Stevenson. It is a very well maintained and has other stops that show tree carvings dedicated as memorials. Park features a Veterans Drive on the grounds, a lot of history here, be sure to take a brochure upon entering for easier access.This is a very good stop for history buffs and those who have a interest.
