Great brewery in a small town
1905 Brewing Company produces crafted beers in a wide range of malt-forward styles, served in a taproom that formerly housed general stores and the town’s newspaper. The building, built in 1905, has been beautifully renovated using repurposed wood, doors and other items from the building itself, as well as from other businesses and homes in Assumption. This is a “don’t miss” stop in CIL!

Hidden Gem
Great beer and cider selection. Everything I tried, I really liked. Prices are very reasonable. The food truck that came in the evening was AMAZING!! The very best brisket I have ever had. The only downfall I experienced was that it is VERY loud inside. It would be nice if there was something that could buffer some of the noise. But overall, it's a really great place to go have a craft beer in a quaint little town.
