Not worth the money, cruel to animals
Although billed as a full day adventure tour, I was disappointed to discover Neutomo Excursions was nothing but different contractors cobbling together a poorly delivered servicee. There was zero communication - the driver arrived late, dallied at the port for an hour and by the time we reached the departure point, the tour boat had left without us. By the time they managed to get someone to pick us up, it was noon and half the day was wasted. The itinerary leads you to believe you'll be snorkelling. This did not happen. Instead, one of the boat captains literally scooped a turtle out of the water, and wrestled it so tourists could take photos up close with the animal even though it was in obvious distress. Upon returning to the main island, the boat captains told us they had no idea who or when or if anyone was picking us up - not ideal given that the tour van was carrying all our luggage. One said he was “just a contractor” and the other was there “just to hang out”. Suffice to say we don’t appreciate such a level of professionalism. Whether something was lost in translation or it was all just a straight up scam - my advice would be to steer clear.
