rendez-vous with the special forces
I went with a friend to see the army museum in Paris the last week which is certainly my favorite museum. How happy I was to discover a new exhibition dedicated to special forces. I have no words to describe the dive in this so secret universe. plan two hours to visit the exhibition that traces the first SAS to the current special operations command. The profusion of material available to the public traces the evolution of French special forces from the Second World War to the wars of decolonization and the Balkans in 90’s. It also shows their deployment in the Middle East and ends with Operation Barkhane. I really advise this temporary exhibition which deserves the displacement by the quality of the contents and by the profusion of exposed material.

Medieval armor anyone?
The amount and variety of medieval armor, (knights) is just breathtaking. However the sheer volume also makes you a bit exhausted. No one should miss the exhibitions of the two world wars. I would visit in the morning to have the energy to enjoy the amount of objects and impressions of this large museum.
