A beautiful oasis of greenery and flowers in the 6th arrondissement. Even in fall foliage, the gardens are spectacular. There are many different paths to take, each with many chairs to stop and admire the flora and the many statues. In the centre of the park, there is a huge pool with a fountain, where children can race miniature sailboats. There is a carousel, pony rides, petanque grounds, and more. The Luxembourg Palace is currently under repair, but is still very lovely. The only drawback is that you must pay to use the public toilettes, but that is common in much of Europe. Take a camera!
