Beautiful church and area
A Beautiful church sitting prominently on the hill. Visiting here for us was about not just the church but the wonderful neighborhood as well as the experience. One of the items high on the list is to come here for sunset. The day we were here, was partly cloudy but also in the fall so the sunset wasn’t in a great place. It was OK but not quite what we had hoped. The best part was seeing the city lights come on after the sun had set. That is a great view. Going inside the church is beautiful and it has superb architecture. There is no cost to get inside the church but you do have to pay to climb the tower. If you want to get some pretty great views of Paris from the top of the towers/domes, then this is a great option that is not overly expensive. Just be prepared to climb the 200 steps in very cramped quarters to get up there. Also note, that a wander around the neighborhood around the church is a must as well.

Breath taking view from and to.
WOW! Looking up the street to it is impressive. The walk up the many flight of stairs is challenging, but there is another option off to the side to take a monorail up. I wish I knew about before taking on all those stairs in the 70 degree weather wearing a warm sweater. The hike was worth it once I reached it. The Basilique is beautiful on the inside and very large, they have mass you can attend during the day and a gift shop with a variety of souvenirs, all quite pricey. Once done, walking down and around the area is full of local artist, stores, and restaurants.
