Tamarack Resort is an all-season destination nestled in Idaho's Payette River Mountains Region. The resort is located in Tamarack Idaho 90 miles north of Boise on the shores of Lake Cascade, just west of the small town of Donnelly. From onsite lodging, dining and event space to the full range of outdoor recreation in the Idaho mountains, there is an adventure for all seasons. The winter brings 2,800 feet of vertical on 1,100 lift-accessed acres for skiers and snowboarders, along with Nordic and snowshoe trails. During the summer, the resort is home to mountain biking, hiking, rafting and watersports on Lake Cascade.

No crowds, more fun....Best kept ski area secret for those outside of Idaho!
Mid week skiing bliss....No waiting for lifts, lots of snow, well groomed and no traffic on the slopes made for an excellent mid week ski trip! Majority of lodging is nearly brand new, village is brand new, dining at the Reserve was excellent, staff was friendly and very accessible. Excellent ski conditions. My only area of improvement (over time) would be to add a better balance of advanced beginner and early intermediate runs to cover ALL abilities more effectively. A lift from the Village to cover the current green and easier blue runs would be a HUGE improvement for Tamarack. Tremendous potential for this resort.

Winter Wonderland!
What a great experience! Accommodations and amenities are top notch. The resort unit we stayed in was clean, modern, up to date and spacious for our family of five. The staff was friendly, courteous and always willing to attend to our needs. With three young skiers in the family, the convenience factor cannot be emphasized enough and Tamarack did not disappoint. With the ski lockers nearby, it took no more than 15 minutes to be on the slopes from our unit. Mountain was nice and powdery with plenty of options to choose from. The views were breathtaking and the lift lines ran smoothly, without delay. Cant wait to head back. Actually looks like the summer may be even funner.
