Great area to hike and explore
I normally do not visit Cottonwood in the winter but I have spent many hours hiking and exploring Cottonwood Butte. Everyone that skiis up there loves it but I don't ski any more. On the very top of the Butte there are ruins from old World War 2 lookout towers. Very interesting.
