    Tianzi Mountain awesome
We were so very lucky that we had a perfectly clear day for our trip up the mountain. Three days earlier it had rained heavily. Arrived at the tourist area where you catch a local bus to the cable car up 1370 to the naturally formed plateau mountain. Then hop onto another local bus for about a 20 ride to where the walks commence. Walked up and down steps around the edge of the plateau where there are numerous lookout points for stunning views of the towering sandstone pillars and peaks. There were so many awesome sights that our camera never stopped clicking. This area seems to be the most visited scenic spot as there were hundreds of tourists wandering around and some viewing areas were very congested. There are restaurants and small stalls along the way. Our local guide was so thoughtful that he had us walking in the right direction to take the advantage of the light and sun for the best photos. Departure from the park was by way of the Bailong Elevator which is a glass elevator built onto the side of a huge cliff 330 metres high. It was an awesome trip down the mountain side. Next day we climbed up the Huangshizhai scenic area of the park which was much more peaceful, fewer people and more relaxing wandering around the plateau and the sights were just as awesome.
