Biking in a peaceful tea plantations, cleaning your lungs in the mountains
I live near the tea plantations and I know how beautiful the tea plantations can be in different seasons. Our town Jinjing has a long history of growing high quality green tea for over one thousand years since before Han Dynasty, thanks to the perfect weather in this mountainous area. The tea plantations and the government has invested high quality biking traits in our major plantation area, and bikes are there for rental, free if returned within two hours. Search for Julian's Country Inn and you will see some photos. In spring it was like a dreamland. The tea plantations are also home of the largest national tiger breeding center in China. At this stage the big cats are all Manchurian tigers but soon the second phase will be larger, and its mission will be help south China tigers to return to the wild.
