Great hike and scenery
Hike was fairly easy, typical of China.....paved path, maybe about a mile or so. Lots of photo opps. Nice ending at the waterfall....note photo only shows top half. Much more water cascading when we went (Sept). Beautiful town, less touristy than Fenghuang.

One of the best waterfalls I saw in China
I have generally been disappointed by waterfalls in China, especially the ones with high entrance fees. When you visit Dehang, you need to take this easy hike to the falls. It is quite spectacular. It possibly depends on the season (amount of water). We stayed overnight in the village and our room was only 80RMB with wifi, hot water and a flat screen tv (AC is extra). This is the usual price in this village. A good place to relax although it might get busier on weekends.
