Amazingly beautiful scenery and red bridge

After visiting the Tianwen Mountain (Heaven Asking Platform) near the Aizhai Ancient Town, I went to walk along a mountain road and saw a beautiful suspension bridge. It started to rain but I managed to take some photos (with some difficulties). At the top of the bridge pylon, the rain started to clear. There was a lift for visitors to go down to the bridge-observation platform. From the platform I could see the bridge clearly on my left and some distant scenery on the right. Then a bunch of clouds (formed after the rain) appeared on the right and started to drift quickly towards the bridge on the left. From that moment I kept taking photos as the scenes were just absorbing. The clouds "swallowed" the bridge and the resulting scene was stunning. One of my photos was chosen to be the Cover Picture on the Youpic photographic website; the trip was really worthwhile.

    Amazing red bridge
We went on a foggy day. The view is very fuzzy. The bridge looked more winding. Manage to walk half way and the other 1/2 was closed for safety reason. Visited on Dec 2018.

This road will be fantastic when it's finished....
This road leads from Aizhai township up to the Aizhai bridge, but it's being rebuilt after many years, so it will be great when it's finished. It is a very steep, winding switchback road, with a really interesting old stone bridge about three quarters of the way up. At the top of the road is the spectacular Aizhai bridge between two tunnels - one of the world's highest and most spectacular bridges. If you are lucky, you might see a BASE jumper fly off the bridge, or a paraglider soar past. The terrain is truly mystical, and the Aizhai township at the bottom of the valley looks simply stunning. There is a small hotel near the bottom of the road, facing the bridge, where you can get food and drink, relaxing for a while to soak up the beautiful view. Really nice people there, and great food. It's a starting point for rock climbing, caving, kayaking, and aerial activities. Extreme sports enthusiasts and adventurers should definitely call in there.
