Hylomania!
Go into the woods, and find a place to rest your soul. Go into the woods, and feel the history. Go into the woods, and worry about nothing else. Lin Tien Shan (previously known as Morisaka) is not just about stewed pig foot. The vast logging field is living evidence left from the colonial period. Can't imagine a considerable amount of wood was shipped out to Japan every day...That was fifty years ago. That was history. That was part of history in Taiwan which will never be forgotten. It's a great place for hiking, but you should watch out for possible falling rocks.

Legend
We visited in a rainy day last Sunday. Except me, all my friends were the first time visitor. They were stunning at the old town building and the atmosphere here. Hiking here just like wandering in the past century. All we have seen illustrated the truth of impermanence. All good and bad have gone.

Lin Tian Shan Forestry Park
This place is the remain of the timber logging community during the Japanese era. There is a museum which shows the logging activities and the logger living condition. The buildings are constructed from wood and in Japanese style. A worthwhile place to visit.
