Guangsheng Temple, Shanxi, China

What an historic beauty

Guangsheng Temple is a magnificent Buddhist temple built in south-central Shanxi Province in the year 147. The highlight of the temple is the spectacular Feihong Pagoda, the largest and best preserved glazed pagoda in China. Octagonal in shape and nearly 500 years od, this 13-storey pagoda really glimmers on sunny days. This temple has many other fantastic elements and could be a UNESCO World Heritage Site one day. I would be happy to provide a full write-up if you could give it a listing. (ShanxiFan--who recently provided you with thorough write-ups for many of your other Shanxi sites, many of which had no descriptions)
