Salmon lining up to swim upriver
Been looking forward to seeing salmon spawning in the shiretoko area and our drive towards shiretoko was rewarded. Saw many fisherman parking cars in this area and fishing around the river mouth and knew we have hit the jack pot. Many salmon were virtually lining up one behind the other to swim upstream. There’s a car park just near the bridge and a salmon ladder further upstream where the river was higher.
