Lovely stroll
Stretching approximately 1.5km from east to west, Odori Park is located in the centre of Sapporo. This is the place where many locals and park goers gather throughout the year and is used for various seasonal events. The Sapporo Snow Festival is held yearly and one of the sites is at Odori Park. Beautiful snow sculptures are exhibited there, some as huge as 25 metres. At one end of Odori Park is the Sapporo TV Tower where you can get a good picture of Odori Park from the top. We managed to view the finals of some skiing formation competition. They were amazing.

Park in the middle of the city
Big park in the middle of the city. Nothing special but a place to stretch your limbs. Since it spans across few blocks of city space, walking is not continuous as you have to wait for traffic signal
