At midnight, look up the sky and be mesmerised point by the celestial heavenly bodies - a billion stars shining brightly. Stay at the Lake Saroma Tsuruga Resort - the 5-star resort has an amazing hospitality and service - the best we've experienced. We loved every moment at Lake Saroma.

Huge lake where its horizon merges with the Sea of Okhotsk
hv passed by this lake several times before while exploring HOkkaido East. This time we passed by on the way to our onsen hotel in Abashiri-ko. There is a quiet fishing port with cruises to tour the lake. We only stopped by in its "DO-station" and moved on.
