A great place to relax
The water is clear & you can see the fish swim. There are large sidewalks by the river you can stroll. There are parks with flowers & benches that you can sit on & enjoy the river. Also, you see very little trash on the river bank. This is a good place to enjoy a sunny day!

Large river which runs through the city
River known for Kushiro salmon. There's an aquarium museum next to the river, which has an observation room below the river. Here you can learn more about all the fish found in the river.
